CHARTER FOR THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

This charter (hereinafter: the ‘Charter’) describes the way in which NUM’AXES – 745 rue de la Bergeresse – ZAC des Aulnaies CS 30157 – 45161 Olivet Cedex – France (hereinafter the ‘Publisher’) processes your personal data via numaxes.com (hereinafter the ‘Site’) in its capacity as data controller. This processing is carried out in compliance with respect for the privacy and protection of the personal data of its users.

This Charter informs you of the conditions under which the Publisher obtains, uses and stores your personal data (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Data’). The Data that we may collect, process and/or transmit when you access and/or use the Site are described here.

This Privacy Policy may be updated in accordance with changes in the law and the data processed. If any clause of this Privacy Policy is declared null and void or contrary to regulations, it will be deemed unwritten but will not invalidate the other clauses of this Privacy Policy.

The Charter does not apply to information collected by third parties (site, applications, advertisements, etc.) sending the user to the Site. By browsing our site, you accept the application of this Charter without reservation. You remain responsible for the conformity of the data you provide via the Site. You may correct or modify them at any time via your ‘My account’ area / by written request/email to info@numaxes.com.

What data is collected?

Depending on how you use the Site (creating an account, contacting us, etc.), the Publisher may collect the following Data:

Your e-mail address for all electronic communications with the Publisher;
Your identity for the creation of your account: Your name, surname, first name, date of birth, e-mail address, telephone number and full postal addresses for billing and/or delivery purposes;

Order Data: your postal address is required for invoicing purposes.
Your bank details will not be requested by NUM’AXES;

Social network usage data when you use them.

Data collection method

Some Data will be collected directly when you fill in contact forms, registration forms, etc. In this case, your consent will be requested beforehand and may be withdrawn at any time.

Other Data may be collected indirectly via the use of third-party services, for statistical monitoring or social networks for example, in the form of Cookies/Trackers.

Your consent to the use of cookies is requested when you first log on, and you can change it at any time via the ‘Cookies’ link available at the foot of the page.

Purposes of data collection

As a user of the Site, your Data is collected (subject to your consent):

To register a NUM’AXES product purchased from our shop or one of our distributors;

Who processes your data?

Your personal data is processed by the Publisher’s staff in order to manage the Site.

Certain data may be communicated to subcontractors or service providers for statistical monitoring (Google). Each of these parties complies with a confidentiality undertaking concerning the use and processing of personal data.

For payment management purposes and in order to facilitate the experience of its users, the Publisher offers the following payment methods for making purchases on the Site:

Your payment details are collected by the publisher of the payment solution concerned by the chosen payment method (Paypal or Sogecommerce).

The Publisher has no access to your bank card details or numbers. All transactions are secured using SSL encryption, guaranteeing both the identity of the payment organisation and the confidentiality of the data.

All of the sub-contractors, service providers, Partners or other third parties mentioned above are bound by contractual obligations to respect the confidentiality and protection of Data and to process it solely for the purposes for which we transmit it to them.

Your Data may be transferred to any purchaser or other successor in the event of a merger, assignment, restructuring, reorganisation, dissolution or other sale or transfer of some or all of the Publisher’s assets due to uncertainty or bankruptcy, liquidation or other processes in which Site User Data is one of the transferred assets.

We may also disclose your Data:

To comply with any mandate required by applicable laws, including governmental and regulatory requests
If we believe that disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property or safety of the Publisher, its customers or other stakeholders.

How long we keep your Data

The Publisher retains your Data for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes of collection described above. This retention period varies depending on the Data and its nature. The objective pursued is likely to vary this period. Certain legal obligations impose a specific retention period.

Subscribing to our Newsletter (if applicable) involves storing your e-mail address until you unsubscribe.

Your data may be kept for up to 1 year when you contact us using our dedicated forms.

Data relating to your orders is stored for up to 10 years (legal deadline) from the date of your last order.

Data concerning your account is kept for 10 years, even if you have asked to deactivate your account.

All other Data will be kept for up to 1 year.

If you request the deletion of Personal Data, your user account on the Site will be deactivated and anonymised, and then completely deleted at the end of the aforementioned periods from the day on which you made the request.

Finally, the Data collected by means of cookies or tracers will be kept for up to thirteen 13 months. Beyond the aforementioned retention periods, your Data will be anonymised and retained exclusively for statistical purposes.

Protection of your data

The Data you provide is stored on a secure server protected by a firewall and antivirus software. All technical and organisational measures have been taken to guarantee the security and confidentiality of your Data against accidental loss and against unauthorised access, use, modification and disclosure.

However, it is impossible to guarantee optimum security for exchanges of information on the Internet. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted to the Site. You transmit your Data at your own risk and we cannot be held responsible for non-compliance with the confidentiality parameters or security measures in place on the Site. You acknowledge that the security of your information is also your responsibility, by securing and maintaining the confidentiality of your password.

The Publisher will never ask you for your password.

Your rights

You have the possibility of expressing your consent or refusal to the collection and use of your Data that you transmit to us:

The right to withdraw consent, where this has been requested from you. Where the processing of your Data is carried out on the basis of your consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time.

We have a period of one month in which to respond to any request relating to the exercise of your rights. This period may be extended by two months if the request is complex or if there are too many requests.

Storage of collected data
